The antiseptic action of Tea Tree is thought to be one hundred times more powerful than carbolic acid, yet it is nonpoisonous to humans! It has impressive antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties that make it useful in a wide range of conditions. It is used for treatment of all sorts of infections, for sunburn, acne, athlete's foot, toothache, and ringworm, among other things. Add 5 - 10 drops to a diffuser or mix with a carrier oil for other applications. Use precautions when using around animals.
