Traditional Mediterranean peoples have been using Helichrysum oil for centuries and comes the Helichrysum italicum plant, a medicinal plant with many promising pharmacological uses. It's properties include acting as a natural antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antimicrobial agents. The Helichrysum plant is also referred to by other names, such as curry plant or Italian strawflower.
Helichrysum has traditionally been used to treat a wide range of digestive issues, such as stomach aches, bloating, indigestion, and acid reflux and many studies suggest helichrysum can help reduce inflammation and associated pain. Because studies suggest that helichrysum essential oil has anti-inflammatory properties, it may be able to reduce muscle and joint inflammation when rubbed into the affected area.
This 3% blend with hydrating Jojoba Oil is intended for use in topical applications and is not for use in diffusers.
